What does an Artist do?

An artist creates if an Artist did not create they would not be an artist
I always have pictures to paint I see graphic designs in my mind and when I see them I start to write it's much like imprinted blueprints in my mind. directing me to design a certain kind of line at a time, the lines are built with words much like some walls are built with bricks, my lines are built with words. With these words and these lines I too build structures and monuments. I guess you can say in a sense that I'm a builder, those who build create, that's what artist do, they create.

Is there ever a time that you find it hard to be creative?

Yes, many refer to it as writers block, I do not to me it feels more like a dry waterfall because, when you're flowing it's like a waterfall, the water is coming down WHOOSH! it's coming down, that's why most people find inspiration while taking a shower or bathing in a tub, water is spiritual, there is definitely something in the water. When water is no longer coming down it's a dry waterfall most time when I am in that state, in my mind I'm usually somewhere sitting on a mountaintop with my feet dangling over the edge looking down kind of like sitting on a rooftop with my feet hanging over the side of the building. I'm usually in that space and time trying to make a connection waiting to be contacted.

Contacted?

What I mean by contacted is, I am not the Poet, the Poet is a company of other Poets who have something to say. Sometimes it can be crazy but I have learned that I must obey with pen in hand and record what is dictated to me to write because every Poet has something to say it's the spirit of the Word continuing to flow. Poetry is something that's so deep,it's so deep where there is no depth, there is no limit to the depth of Poetry.

How deep have you gone?

WOW! I've been so deep, I actually felt the flames of hell brush the bottom of my feet, that's how deep I've been, just think, If I sink even deeper I'm on fire. I go deeper than the flames of hell brushing the bottom of my feet, I am on fire, in every sense of the Word. I have heard Poets recite, I mean I could feel the heat from their Words as if they transformed into fire breathing dragons, when they let loose it's like you're engulfed in flames, that's the art of Poetry taking effect.

Poetry is often misunderstood, Why?

Poetry does not have to be understood nor does it need to be defined, it can not be defined, there is no definition that can really stand for what Poetry means. The truth about Art is it comes through different chancels, levels and frequencies, It's about how we see, not the Artist but what the Artist has created. that Aw, that WOW, that Whoa! It's like when the Artist creates something out of this world, it's so immortal, super, super natural, extraordinary. That's what it does it wakes up something inside of you, Poetry is not for those who sleep. If someone writes Poetry and does not wakeup something inside of them then, it only means that they have not gone deep enough "YET" there is a depth in all of us, a lot of us have not gone there yet. I believe that there is a constant fall until we fall no more. I also believe that there is no understanding for something so deep.

If we continue to fall, where do we land?

We land in a place where everybody, everything and every sound is Art. A slice of pizza sitting in the box, trash sitting in a trash can, a bald up piece of paper at the bottom of the waste paper basket that's Art, a lot of Photographers have the gift of capturing the spirit of creation, like in a lot pictures you see what the photographer saw, what the photographer see's the Poet forms into words. The Poet captures that moment, the Poet captures the picture, the Poet paints the picture, the Poet chisels the statue, the Poet lays the foundation, The Poet builds the structure, "You get the picture"! It's in the form words, falling like, water a constant waterfall.
