How to build a viral poetry database?

This document talks about about building a database that interacts with users to make it an ultimate viral experience and the web. The main thing you have to be concerned about is structure and we will go into that with a little detail further down the page.

There are a few reasons to build the ultimate viral database, you need to make sure you have a few components in place to structure the content. The structure of the content determines how you link or join to other databases on your website to provide a seamless experience.

At the center of any experience is the customer. This has to be the main focus to create the necessary viral loops to keep users coming back to your site. This is the site structure that is currently used on the site. You need to make sure you have a unique identifier for each poem that is entered on your site. Once you are able to unique identify each poem, you can use that unique identified to link to things like comment streams and affinity streams such as "like" status type buttons. The sky is the limit once you establish the uniqueness of each poem

The next things you need to carve out are the identifying elements of each poem. The heirarchy is identify each poem and then to identify the elements of the poem that can be assigned to each poem and these include username, poetry title, description, poem content, and an approval marker for the poem. Sometimes poems have to be disabled and the easiest way to disable a poem is to add a TINYINT. The choices for this TINYINT is either 0 or 1. The default should be one for approved.
