First pheromonal attraction

Drinking from a water fountain

I admired her beauty and height like a mountain

Quenching her thirst slowly, she took much more than her allotted time

But I really didn’t mind

Even though I was parched and next in line

I was ten, and she was twelve or maybe thirteen?

When we locked eyes, it felt like a movie scene!

Still drinking, she started to smile and playfully wink

She knew that she might be the last camper to get a cool drink

When they called us back to board the bus, I could barely think

When she walked past me, I caught a scent of her breeze

Overwhelmed, it buckled my knees!

This pleasant and unexpected encounter made me step out of the line

When she slowly walked away, I could not stop staring at her behind!
