Poems For Black Women

There is something completely attractive about a man that can recite poetry to black women. There is something magical in watching their pain melt away against the backdrop of urban life and watch them come alive. They want that part of them to be loved and they fight against the world just to secure their place in the world where they are completely loved.

Poems for black women are powerful because they are a tool to deliver a message that was meant to be heard. This is an article quality, the quality of the black woman that needs to be loved by the black man. In some cases, it may seesm like she is broken. And she is broken as are we and we find a way to carry on. And in that place where we are all fighting our place in urban life, we find that moment to let the universe distill a message that we in turn look into her eyes and let the words flow. They billow like clouds from our mouths and remove the clouds from her day and leave her from a range of slightly amused to compmletely fulfilled.

When and where you see the opportunity and search to try to find that opportunity -- write a poem to a black woman and make her feel special today or tomorrow or when the mood strikes you. Even if you are a friend and you know someone that you could use a pick me up note, write one. Make sure that it comes from the heart because that is when the words matter the most. We all have a responsibility to do so because we inhereted this world and she came along with it. We turn a blind eye to many things and watch our world and neighborhoods crumble around us. But we have an ultimately responsibly not to let her crumble. Whether she is a lover, a friend, a mother, a sibling -- we have a responsibility to:

  • love her
  • uplift her
  • priase her
  • And do all things in her name

So what you are waiting for. Start writing to her today.
