The Third Wheel--Part 1

Chante and Dushan had known each other since she was 19 and he was 22. He happen to become her first male friend when she got to her first duty location. When they met of course they were very young. They met while they were both out clubbing. He had on some baggy sweatpants and bubble coat, she had on close to nothing with thigh high mini skirt. They both ended up back at her dorm after they left the club but they didn't consume each other like you would have assumed it would have happened. As he layed on the bed , she sat on top of him and looked in his eyes and felt peace and warmth from him. He didn't even try to take her and from that moment she knew she knew she could always trust him. She knew could always keep him as a close friend and confidant.

Through the years they both kept in contact with one another. Even though they both went through their share of events in their lives, they always managed to keep in touch with one another. They would always plan to see each other but things like marriage , and relationships or life just stood in the way. But they both moved on and never dwelled on the obstacles.  Fast forwarding to 2013, she reconnected with her friend before she relocated back overseas. When he called her, his voice was calm and serene as she remembered it to be. When she spoke with him, they exchanged laughs and reminisced about old times and talked about the happenings in their lives. When she got off the phone all she could do is smile and wonder how in the world could she have lost touch with him.

The next time they planned to see each other. It was nerve wrecking because they hadn't seen each other in over 10 years. But when they saw each other the nervousness increased. she remembered his white toothy smile and how he always smelled good and I knew right then she would be boning him. As they arrived in Atlanta, they both indulged into each other as the weekend began to pass making the moments harder to want to give up.

On day 2 of their trip, after a much needed session, they were hungry and proceeded out of the door to go get something to eat. But before they could get out of the door a group of three young ladies headed toward them. They seemed to have been coming from a party from upstairs. Two of the friends inquired where the gift shop was and they walked off but one of them stayed behind to talk to them. She had a caramel complexion, at least 5'2, with red lipstick painted across her lips. Then she questioned why they hadn't attended the party which the hotel was known for hosting. Dushan stated that he didn't know that he didn't know about the party. As they answered her random inquiries, the woman asked one more question. She asked what they would be doing later. They both looked at each other seeking approval that we would let the stranger infringe on their romantic weekend. But they both agreed to let her in. To get her life ***ed up.
