In Life

In life we have the choice be good or be great
Be legendary or settle for average, I guess at the end of the road none of it matters
Live a life full of regrets, or making memories filled with blessings and laughter
Me Im choosing the latter
Its not about how you move through disaster, the proof is in what you do in the “after”
Where am I going? How do I get there? What fuels your passion?
A few of the questions you should be asking
Every moment should be worth being captured, it's sad but only a few will be tagged in the caption
It's crazy, a little addition and subtracting, how the positive results could be massive
Take a look at now, your future is active and the past is the present with a few added fractions
But you cant unlock the riddle your truth without a clue of who you have been

Losing it

I can feel it my chest pounding, the pressures to succeed compounding
Trying to surpass survival and thrive is astounding, couldnt move it so im climbing this mountain
Struggling to block out the noise around me, engulfed in content and its affecting my well being
Ignoring what the past is telling me, honestly im hoping the past will be propellers for me
Cant express my frustrations verbally or intelligently, that fear of failure is beginning to swallow me
Except now, Im not failing just myself-Im failing my everything
Its OK is what shes telling me, I dont believe it because what just happened is the thread of my fiber unravelling
Face to face with a ghost of the past challenging me, but dont mistake this as a case of me being cowardly
Just racing for a solution before this demon overpowers me, just looking for a reason to be proud of me

paranoid

Step outta the present for second to see what my past was seeing, so I can recalculate the route of the path Im leading
Something feels off, travel to the beginning of my future to see the effects of the signs Im seeing
I can feel it in the air, or am I misreading?
But I cant shake these reoccurring dreams, it's like time is bleeding
But I cant react to my subconscious, even if what I'm finding is treason
Guess its back to being a monster season, proactive solutions that will cause a fraction of emotions to be redacted to prevent their collusion
You motha***ers must think that Im stupid
My paranoia is a reality, I will gladly let it devour me
You need to understand, Ive been surround by casualties while casually acting callously
It's empowering, feeling the whispers all around me, secret intentions resurfacing

Can anybody really hear me.....
Drunk off emotions, searching for a gateway to escape from the pain
Guess its back to long range driving again
Mentally drained, or temporarily physical strained
Don't know if I can handle this again, outside in the rain trying to wash away the weight weighing heavy on my brain
Feeling my bridge collapsing, need to regroup and overcome these mishaps
But my vision is blurred, swallowed in hurt
Trying not to project these feelings, hoping time will bring the healing

State of Today

How can I stand tall, when certain laws were designed to keep me small? That is a fact, unforntunately, that cant be debated at all How can I breathe, when Ive been conditioned to believe this air isnt meant for me? Or maybe we all share the same air, its just that mine isnt free? Before you viewed my struggle with genuine apathy, but now youve taken noticed because its plastered all on your tvs and magazines Combat #blacklivesmatters and you do it so casually, then you wanna be friends-close my eyes What the *** is Happening???!!!! As we all celebrate 4th of july, I analyze the secrets behind the torch in skies...
Let me hold steady while I speak and put a cork in your lies,
They took the fork out of the road and stuck the fork in our minds,
To bleed me of intelligence, Damn. We live in such unfortunate times
I read between the lines of the small print, and the intent is to exploit and divide
So we breathe the insanity while they extort those who are the fabric that holds together our lives
I took the fumes you created, and you hate that we used it to create our own fire
I am one of a kind so I can't be concentrated, and since I know you watch how I move I won't lose concentration
I have to much too lose even though at times that thoughts debated
They want to keep our thoughts sedated, even though I know there's no God in the matrix
It'll be spun that this is just lines full of hatred, but it passion

To share, with you, my every dream is a weird sensation
Give you something old, something new, something blue is a daily contemplation

A simple promise, everything Us is unconditional

Where Im From

Im from the land of lost souls, sirens are lullabies, and man's heart's froze
Media depicts an image, for ratings with gimmicks, portraying we're savages fit for substandard conditions
All for pictures and plaques from top businessmen and politicians, the same ones who profit and contribute to our step stool position
We are not all to blame for how we've been living, how do you expect to know more when you havent been taught any different
You defend the injustice, when the list of legal corruption stretches 1000 miles high, and the blood from our labor runs like the river Nile
This country was built on our backs and yet we still get attack, but my smile's wide
I beat the stereotype...
Is your fear of me, or fear of my might? Do you fear my success, or fear my fight?
Do you fear my intelligence and your ignorance will prove me right?
Or do you you fear the truth, that I didnt choose this life?...
