Go and tell the people that
the poets got this, the main
attraction, the passion and
the movement.
2 Scribe sealed with caption
some came to fight but the
poets came to write
3 Their voices shine bright
like neon light, written and
spoken word is their plight
4 For they will hear one day
and one day they will know
every word that the poets
had to say.
5 There are those who are here
to warn, like blowing a rams horn
picking up the rags and pieces of those
who are broke and torn.
6 Bellowing and bringing
light to mystery and the
uncovering of hidden history.
7 Reaching to write that one poem that
everyone will recite that one poem that
could restore and save a life.
8 That one poem that would
cease wars and stop fights
the mission is to love one
the journey is to write one
9 The mission statement is to
do what is right whether it be
in the day or in the nigtht
at a prayer visual without candlelight
they are the poets and the poets came to write
