It’s food on my plate but I can’t
With all these brains all over the street
Less than 10 feet away from me
Making it too hard for me to eat
Too much on my mind
I’m trying to grind
Trying to find
The pieces to a 1000 piece puzzle
So I can get the picture
Hard to see with only
100 pieces found
Clocks unwound
Thrown down
Broken on the ground
Mind Travel over
The rainbow too many colors
Left to go
Rocks and gravel
Tracks unravel
Brains scrambled like eggs
I can’t feel my legs
I’m the ghost of ghettos past
Follow me
Through all the broken glass
Spill the wine
For all those who’ve passed
Enough to fill a glass
Drop outs don’t go to class
Robbing a liquor store
Without a mask
In case of emergency
Break and find an opportunity
To wage war we need more
Unity
Our minds together working
Life can seem tragic
Thoughts are like magic
That’s the honest to god truth
If you squeeze your brain
It will give up the juice
Too good to waste
Splattered all over the place
Get up and wipe the blood off your face
Good food is too hard to waste
