Couple months later
Graduation was finally here, had on white skinny jeans a
white short sleeve v-neck shirt and white sneakers had my hair in a ponytail
had walked across the stage gotten my diploma was happy as ever. after the
ceremony we all was in the grand hallway i was looking for mom mami and art.
had heard mom call my name i look up she was standing upstairs. I came up
there, had gave her a big hug. they was taking pictures and everything than
mami said "theres someone whose here to see you." she turned her head
i looked to where she was looking and grasp "miguel." he smiled as i
ran into his arms, he lift me up and spun me around. had sat me down as he said
"congrats lil bug." i said "you came." he smirk "i
wasnt going to miss my little sister's graduations." he pulled me back
into his arms i started to cry a bit was really happy he was here. mom and mami
took a picture of me, stone, art, miguel and simone together. After that we
went out to eat, had a great time with the fam. After all that me simone and
stone went out with the rest of the graduating class. one of them was throwing
a big party. we had a great time and all took a bunch of pictures. Later that
night i came home had changed clothes went to mom's room and crawl in the bed,
laid up close behind mom and wrapped my arms around her as i laid my head down
on the pillow. she giggled "finally you're home." i laughed a bit as
i place a kiss on the back of her neck. we fell asleep, during the next few
days i spent my time hanging out with my girl Simone, family and friends. Then
one afternoon i went up to the church, one of the sisters wanted me to come up
there to get a plate of food they had some big birthday thing and there was a
bunch of food left. i came in had my dogtags on, went into the grand hall they
have, looked around saw some of the church members cleaning up. had saw sister
toni, had walked up to her she had smile "hey you made it." i smile
"of course." we hugged each other, than we talked as i followed her
to the kitchen. saw Jacquees my ex, my first love. she was putting stuff up
when she heard my voice. Toni ask "so where are they shipping you
to?" I ans "they're shipping me to iraq next saturday." thats
when jacquees turned her head and looked at me. I looked at her while Toni said
"you be careful over there and send me a letter so i can send you a care
package." I said "alright you just make sure you send me some of my
fav cookies you make." she laugh "you got it baby." we hugged, i
left on out had walked to my car. just as i was finna get in I stopped when i
heard Jacques’ said "tru wait." turned around and looked at her. she
stood in front of me, she ask "you joined the army?" I nod my head,
next thing you know she began rambling was pacing back and forth I grab the
back of her neck pulled her close to me and french kissed her. was holding the
side of her face when we stopped kissing, had touch each other's forehead i had
took a deep breath and said "im always going to remember our love we had
for each other, you are always going to be in my heart," she was crying a
bit, i kissed her again and cont "i still love you." wiped her tears
of her cheek and walk to my car, got in and drove away. she went on to her apt
laid in her bed and fell asleep crying thinking about me. I drove on over to
see Ange. came inside her house we chilled around than we ended up having sex.
after being at her house i drove on over to Jen's condo. came inside we was in
the kitchen when i had left her up and sat her on the counter we began making

the floor. i took hers off as she got down off the counter we went into the

Friday came around was heading on over to madea's. the fam,
crew and friends threw me a lil party. then lynn came up to me and handed me a
photo album, she said "its filled with every picture we took with you. I
smiled as i said "thanks, i'll make sure i look at it every night."
After a long while we went on home, i had simone spend tha night at the house.
The next morning I woke up had took a shower got out oil and spray my body
down, had got dressed was wearing my army cameo uniform. had made sure i had
everything i needed and went on downstairs ate breakfast than mami and miguel
came over. we all had got up and head on out. got in mami's truck it was big
enough to fit all of us in it. we got in and rolled on out to the airstrip
thats at this army base. got out had stop in front of them and scared at them
saw that they was finna cry. I hugged simone as i gave her a kiss on her
forehead, i held up her hand that has the ring i gave her and said "you
hold on to that, i'll be thinking about you everyday and night." she nod
her head than i gave my brothers a hug than i got to mami she was trying her
best not to cry, we hugged for a long time. i said "i love you ma."
she smile "i love you too." then i got to mom(kate) scared into her
eyes and said "come here." we hugged each other tight, i whisper in
her ear "remember my promise." she nod her head, i gave her a kiss on
her cheek as i said "i love you mom, i'll be back." she said "be
careful." I said "i will." i stood back, looked at them and said
"i'll see yall soon, be good." they waved bye as i got on the plane.
Couple weeks later
I finally gotten some time to finally video chat the fam.
had video call mami(bianca). she heard her ipad go off smiled when she saw my
name pop up on the screen she went in the conference room and ans my call. she
smile "hey mija." i smirk "hey mami." we talked for a long
while than i video call mom, she was at work eating lunch with Ms.E when her
laptop went off. she grasp when she saw my name on the screen she ans the call.
while we was talking, Raul my goofyfriend and follow soldier popped up behind
me and said "hi Ms.R, im raul and may i say those cookies you sent over
were amazing." I smirk as i looked at him and ask "dude what are you
doing?" he look at me and ans "im trying to see if your mom can send
some more of those cookies they were the ...oops excuse my language
ma'm." I place my hand on my forehead as i laughed "dude, get outta
here." he smirk "nice talking to you ma'm." I smirk "now
raul." he smack his lip as he said "see, she's so mean...bye ma’m."
mom laughed "bye raul." he left on out the tent. i looked at mom, she
smile "he's funny." i smile "yea thats my boy." after
awhile i called simone. few minutes later i was done had gotten up went to my cot and laid down on it kept thinking about the fam was missing them alot.
