Provide, Protect and Profess

If he loves you, you'll never stress

At least not about how he will feel

Because at the very least, thats real

Though there is no perfect man

He stil should do all he can

May not do all three from the start

The desire to should be in his heart

Time should make his devotion stronger

How far he's willing to go should be longer

At some point you should be number one

If it never happens eventually it'll be done

Yea everyone has their own pace

Some wait for the right time and place

But ask yourself are you smiling more than crying

Do you even see him trying

Everything is 50 50 it takes two

Does he put in as much effort as you

Don't submit to a false low self-esteem

To live a nightmare you call a dream

You're no longer that insecure young girl

Obsessed with clothes, make up and a hair curl

Or who is popular and who dates who

These things no longer concern you

You grow into women and expectations change

Yet still fool with boys, to me thats strange

If you desire more out of life within

Why not do the same with your men

Tired of seeing beautiful strong women torn

And let their heart be full of scorn

By a man that turns out to be a boy

Slowly sapping away their joy

If you're hot enough to ignite a dead stars glow

Why wouldn't you want that to show

You're special in every single way

If he doesn't see that he doesn't deserve to stay
