Just Remember me bae

We may be well apart,
hours away, distance wise.
Distance nor time,
friendship, will it compromise.
Though we may be separate.
Chasing our dreams.
Talks may come less frequently,
and slow down it seems.
I'll always remember you,
and we'll still be friends.
You still like my brother or sister,
and for you back, I'd bend.
Though time may separate us,
we'll always be back for another
Even if I move away,
we'll still have each other.
Though time may rip us apart,
just a pause for a continue,
not restart.
We'll meet again.
And our friendship waiting.
For the good times to resume,
and new details relating.
Don't forget me yall,
I'll still be hear.
I think being forgotten,
might be what I mostly fear.

Girl, don't be alarmed.
Distance makes the grow fonder.
Gives me a chance show devotion,
for you to respect my honor.
Miles away,
but you may as well be next to me.
I feel you here,
and that's where I'd like you to be.
But we got work and school,
and some things between that.
Time is constrained,
and no time to get back.
But I'll be waiting here.
While you're handling things there
And we'll pick up where we left,
or start with no care.
Same thing really,
in the end you'll love me.
But if distance does kill us,
then I guess it wasn't meant to be.
You can go on and do what you like,
move on and have fun tonight.
Brighten up that future,
that I planned to light.
Just remember me for the times we shared.
the good and the bad.
All the great times we cared,
and all the caring moments we had.
Not saying, not asking that at all.
Had that opportunity, and I dropped the ball.
All I'm asking is don't forget,
don't forget what we were.
Don't pretend like it never happened,
I wasn't a part of your past no more.
I'm not saying let it weigh on you,
saying don't forget it you see.
But what I'm really trying to say,
is just remember me.
