Pretty black girl,

The black girl with disoriented Caucasian friends,

Oh how she is wonderful,

Beautiful brown shell,

With a sweet scented heart,

Even though with intelligent and beauty,

She is still looked down upon,

As an unlegit human,

Making her values less privileged than the high priority kind,

Though it isn't her fault such other's feel this way,

For the fact that they're threatened by us,

Envied by such great power we hold,

Irritated that daily we are such a trending topic,

Such sadness for those to believe certain human are worthless,

Rather than overcoming and all being worthy,

Beautiful black women knows her worth as a human,

And a Royal Queen,

So no worries to the spears of hatred shooting towards her,

Or the fakes potential personalities in her atmosphere,

She will continue being the pretty black girl.

Pain is so often a writer's inspiration, that reading these words of encouragement must be prized. Thank you for them.
