It was littered with the killing spree of the future Nigeria They died in their sleep inadvertently Someone actually sent them to their untimely grave under the pretext of religion That’s the situation staring this country of ours in the face We develop to be enveloped in fear every passage of time Every fleeting moment, security consciousness has become our chorus Death is always lurking at the corner Always prepared to strike down the unstained defenceless victim The greatest enemy is in our midst BY Isaac Mensah 2013.
