If you teach the youth that our history started with slaves
They will behave with depraved indifference to ending up in a grave too soon
The mentality garnered from a government curriculum, produces kids numb to what they can become
Leaves kids unaware of their power to create
Look around your neighborhood for proof
Teach our youth the truth;
Our history started millions of years ago in the Congo,
In Kemet in Kush,
From Egypt to the Bush
Great Warriors, Kings, and Queens
Improve a child’s dreams by telling them the whole story from the beginning;
Our history did not start with slavery.
Be a teacher
At home or in the community show you care with unity of thought and foresight for the future
Help our children design their future, shining with positivity
And their present is unwrapped everyday with expectation of joy
Be a teacher but first educate yourself.
Read more than fifty shades and ghetto dramas
Educate the youth, write your own books
They will imitate you; show them a positive example and how it looks.
Don’t give your kids to the school system
We need mystery schools again,
To learn and grow, to cultivate our life force
Only heading north, eyes toward the sky
Be more than that adult living in that house with that child
Train them to explore
To be bold in their desire to learn more and restore the power of their,
And your people
Our people.
Be a teacher
Show love everywhere you go and know it’s coming back
The love shown unites us, and we have to be organized
Otherwise they’ll try to use tricks and guise to keep us away from the prize
And it’s already within us
Let us arise and be wise to what we possess and not let any amount of cruelty upend us
Love yourself
Love the people
Be a teacher.
