Chris Rock just put me on game. We never really had a racial problem in America, white people just started being nicer to us. If they really wanted to, they could bring slavery right back and we could think that we had the power to stop it but we really dont.

They still working the system and you still feeding into it. They put up barriers for you to own anything and educate each other. We are slaves. We are unkind to each other. We serve a will that is not our own. We love music that spreads the message and for all this time, we believe we are in charge of our own lives. You name the last 5 popular uplifting songs about black culture. I'll wait.

This recoils back to Ferguson when a boy is laid out in the street shot twelve times baking in the sweltering heat for 4 hours and then taken away in an unmarked vehicle. That is being unkind.

An unarmed 18 year old was shot and you were being unkind in the act, in the story that was told afterwards and the comments all over social media which shows that you dont understand the final detail. You were being unkind.

So there is no black movement, we need white people to be kinder to us and then we can learn to be kinder to ourselves.

Good write, but "we need white people to be kinder to us" I don't agree, everything starts with SELF

I had a deep belief that it was about SELF too. Like Chris Rock said, if you believe it is about our progress, than that means we deserved to be slaves. It was their cruelty that it was born from. We fought back over a long time and at some point, they started making some changes. I think our fight was getting them to realize that they were being cruel.

Great Share....I agree in parts, but Chris bless his vantage point, but is he talking from a bird's eye view or from the vantage point of the hunter of birds...the problem with the most haves and its culture is that the driving force is in fact inhuman (chasing the mighty dollar), so we must not look to them for being humane, but I agree we must not be cruel to our selves, but we must change the world by changing the value system within ourselves.....RESPECTFULLY ONE

The "Unkind" are like functional addicts. As long as their addiction does not negatively affect their quality of life, they will continue in their substance abuse. They have always acted out against us. "We fought back over a long time and at some point, they started making some changes." I say follow the money. The "changes" they made turned a hated but self-sufficient segment of the populace into a resented CONSUMER class that must depend on them for everything. They happily accept our money without accepting us! Let me be clear, the "they" I refer to are the rich and powerful sect like the Koch brothers, not the average guy "they" also exploit while playing him against us.

Having said that, I appreciate any work that is as thought provoking as your piece. Thanks for posting it.
