I eat fruit which is reaped from the vein that stabilizes the mind

I am enlightened by the light that flows through words in which they type

Given a stage with more encouragement than discouragement

Views hype my thinking tank

I empty thoughts onto the pad

But they are replenished before I can sit back and relax

Poetry written by someone who could easily be no one

Poetry silently stares you in the face

Like a portrait of Jesus daring you to sin against his purity

These poems signify an immense energy  

Who ever created this site is somehow related to me

Because he felt and thought just like me

I can speak we can speak without torture or feelings of inferiority

Pain from lips that speak hatred

Like an almost healed cold sore that ruptures when stretched

Words spewed from the soul edged ugly features around a once beautiful home

The home is the body

The heart is the furnace that pumps fiercely during the winter or harsh times

Words that have chiseled mountains over decades

Words that rain onto the heads of the innocent brainwashing their lives

Racial slurs are thrown like knives

, Pollock, Nazi, Jew Rat, Leprechaun, Wetback, Spick

Words stacked like cinder blocks attitudes formed as mortar

That negative energy compressed within the mind like mental hoarders

Similar to dark matter so unstable and impossible to harness within the human mind

Overcome that media controlled ideology of segregated hate

Integrate compassion within your soul

Like wild grass in between sidewalks… watch it grow

I’s been a monarch before Columbus discovered America

I’s was made in the image of God

I’s been challenged by the land

I’s lived and fought with the lion

I’s wasn’t lying around reclining in the sun

I’s hands were quick to work

From dawn to dusk

I’s built pyramids, sculptures, gold jewelry, and ancestral art

I’s was Einstein within my own elements

But you relocated I’s people to an unknown land

Now I’s forced to take the roll of the fool

When I’s people stretched from the Horn to Southern Africa

I’s a beautiful people

When it is spoken out

It feels like an Ebola laced sword

Ripping its way inwards

I am entangled by this abuse

Like a bird caught within the vines of an un-kept vineyard

Living a non-linear life opposite of Selma

I pray for Good Times like Thelma

But then again the reverend is negligent to the spiritual

But indulged in the revenue  

That “N” word banned us from equality

That “N” word arrived on American shores

With an eternal lease and leash on the African

You continue to use this term

Claimed it as yours

Redefined it with humor

But that “N” word is a mind decaying tumor

I had a dream that Dr king mentored Obama before the oval office

Malcom X liberated the inner cities reconstructing our youth

Marcus Garvey formed powerful coalitions with Jay z, Oprah, Diddy, Tyler Perry, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan and spike lee

Then again Jordan is still engulfed within himself playing aboo for the Aladdin

America had fewer wars, less prisons, and equal education

Crack cocaine and heroin was never introduced in our communities

Alcohol remained abolished

Hope and the Lord’s words were the only remedies

There were no such thing as social class

Fat, skinny, ugly, dark, white, yellow, brown, and beauty were all together in one class

Everyone was equally represented

Welfare and food stamps were unheard of

Jobs were plentiful

Health care was free to all

There was no minimum wage
