Paper People
Some people function like paper you see
Spending life being folded by society
Paper planes thrown across the social classes
By those who care not for the masses
Some people are a blank page
With life written for them as they age
Knowing only another's description
Wondering later why they need a prescription
Some people become a scrap book
Drawn in the image of how things should look
Images of some status that do hold to be true
For no one accepts you for you
Though in the eyes of an artistic soul
These pieces of paper become whole
More than just the product of a trees destruction
Bur the basis for creative construction
Crafted, made anew through origami
Written into a wonderful tale of fantasy
Sketched by the talent of an artistic hand
Accepted by me and others alike only an artist can understand
