I like or love you, it's true
I think it or I say, pretty much everyday
My mind, yes but missing a part, my heart
Is this real, if so, where is, how I feel
I care, missing you when you're not there
Is it your presence, simply the essence
Sharing the same air, when you're there
When not around, it's still ground
Seeds in the field, yet nothing will yield
Ripples in a pond end, no matter how far they extend
This “love†is how deep, unknowing makes me weep
Is there an answer to find, it's just all in my mind
Running around to say, I just don't feel a way
A way I should, not doing so, not so good
Like it's there but not at all, I'm chasing a waterfall
Doubt will reign, I need rain, only real with pain
Isn't it suppose to tear me apart, melt my heart
Where's the agony, the hard hits with no apology
It's not this easy right?, Should be a burning light

Torturing my Soul
Sitting here contemplating
So much it's aggravating
Where's my love? I'm tired of waiting
Too many paths, I start debating
Choices are laying before me
Stretching further than eyes see
How ever far I can't even hitchhike
It all feels wrong it seems like
Whichever you choose

Things may be tricky
If I never step, I'll never know
Letting myself take a chance and go
This one here has the least invested
Start from scratch, nothing tested

Issue being how do I get near her
Not a problem physically
More so just emotionally
How do you approach love to a stranger
That may end up as emotional danger
Well that one may not be right
You're going in without sight
What's life without taking a risk
Search her soul, why hesitate, stop and frisk

Snow
Part of me is tired of the heat year round
Dreaming of the first time i saw snow hit the ground
All my life I've dealt with warm weather
Maybe a change of climate would be better
It could be more enjoyable than the norm
Happiness has more than one form
Being in the same spot has gotten old
The hot days are overrated. Time for some cold
I wouldn't mind much cooler weather
For each of the week i believe i have a sweater
Sand is nice but i want to play in the snow
If i wear the right things I'll be warm wherever i go
Should i just uproot my life and change from what i know
Just to spend it with cold weather and snow
Or do i just want a break from the mundane
To just be spontaneous and a little insane.
My body is use to being warm so would i even survive
Who knows it could make me feel more alive
Finding the peace of mind I've longer for
Healing my life long sore
Snow angels and snowball fights
Snowmen and chilly nights
An actual winter season.

Manifesting itself more over time
Yet I must remain a mime
Every action louder than every word
Hoping what you see doesn't fo unheard

Leagues, fathoms, no deeper than this
Truly desiring that first kiss
Along with the fireworks it would bring
Leaping forward in time like the beginning of spring
Just to fall back in love, unconditionally forced
After walking in without being coerced
Yes I'm aware those two were contradictions
Elephant shoe with no bounds, thus no restrictions
So I can be whatever it is you need me to be

The time spent in sun's light
Even with closed eyes you're in my sight

Fetching for you, the dim star

Simple Things
Simple Things
Before serious "i love you"s and "i do"
Before the finer things between us two
I just want us to have some time to share
While waiting on the love train we can gather the fare
Putting together the exact change
The things we could do have an unlimited range
So much im common as if set up by fate
We could have the most interesting date
Nerd out in a comic book store
Argue who would win against Thor
Or who's the absolute best hero
The level of boredom either way is zero
Maybe have a movie night
Theater or home, it's alright
Sitting close, you rest your head on my chest
Afterwards, debate which scene was the best
I could cook for you or you can for me
Or order pizza if we disagree
Marathon one of our favorite shows
This list just goes and goes
A walk and or a picnic in the park
Lay under the stars when it gets dark
After we watch the sunset
Finding the constellations, naming each set
Maybe have a sleep over at the house

A Dream
I have a very instense dream last night
A war against the machines so I had to fight
The best warriors at my side
This battle could change the tide
For the most part it felt like I had no control
As if just watching me from a separate soul
Then I had a thought that broke me through
Where, in the midst of all of this, were you
In an instant I felt everything
The sounds of gun fire and explosions ring
From the looks of it we were winning
Though the battle was ending I was beginning
All i could do was search for you
I had to find you no matter what I had to do
Took down quite a few machines along the way
Last thing I remember was an explosion blowing me away
The awoke from my dream so I assume I died
Wanting to see you one last time, at least I tried
So I came to realize something true
