A new year births on our endeavours
Like a disgruntled developing human foetus
Dead tired of the comfort of the womb
Finds his way out through the vaginal opening
To respire a fresh air of life
The preceding year propelled his nightmares
Twelve solid months of difficult pregnancy
Faced a host of daunted challenges
Fought many heated rivalries
The soil was like a nut too hard to crack
The fledgling year beams with a brightened outlook of sizeable increase
The soil will prove fertile with momentum paradigm shift
God will crush the breath of failure
We’re forging ahead, our life efforts will never stagger and crumble
We’ll rise appreciable and steadily
In all shores we eke out a living
Such that after the existing year ebbs out
We’ll have valid and living testimonies to complain
