Me and You

The differenve between me and you 

is ME and then YOU

coming together as one with out competition

no baggage 

just hanging laughing

growing each day with love 

but some odd years later

the differences and flaws begin

saying "I dont do this to you;' 

"How can you do this to me"

"You're Not doing this and that"

"You cant relate, so I find others to speak hang with"

"i say i love you, only because i dont want to break yourheart" 

why take these things personal the difference between me and you and 

ME then YOU

dont take it personal 

just because i say i love you

doesnt mean you have to say it back

just because my day is going bad

doesnt mean your day has to

just like when I'm on my menstrial...

The exact time it took for him to sweep me off my feet

two years later wealthy 

college degree 23 

traveled around half of there world 

this is not who i pictured to be

matter a fact this is not how my pops pictured me to be

forced me to 

believe that i was going to be a struggling teen 

doing crack on the streets and following behind the birds 

splitting hairs 

gossiping 

trying to remember if i repeated the same way she did word for word.....

I used to think you liked me 

let alone would i know if you were attracted to me

got me sending love poems 

letting you know that your love inspired me 

to write this song

but all along,

you were the reason why i wrote this poem

leading me on and on and 

all a long your ego i was stroking 

used me because 

i had that good

so for your lingam you kept me around 

i was stroking, (yeah i stayed around)

you would get mad 

say all these hypothecally things 

just to hurt me 

which makes me wonder 

i should have played attention
