BLAME IT ON THE BLACK MAN

He killed his wife, and shot himself

Now he wants to blame it on someone else

Blame it on the Black man

She took her kids to the edge of town

Put the car in drive and in the lake they drowned

Blame it on the Black man

He tracked Trayvon Martin just seventeen years old

Shot this kid in the heart, same old story is told

Blame it on the Blackman (or Black child in this case)

There’s a racial sickness going around this land

Look how fast people believed these lies

Open up your mind and understand

You can’t use us as a racist alibi

They shot an unarmed Black man at point blank range

Forty one bullets, and they say he’s to blame

Blame it on the Black man

On video tape you saw one thing

The ku kops klan beating Rodney King

Blame it on the Black man

Crime is rampant across the land

We need an excuse, you know the plan

Blame it on the Black man

There’s a racial virus eating up this land

Look how fast people believed these lies

Open up your mind and understand

We will not let justice be denied

Cops body-slammed and punched a handcuffed black kid

Choked him too is what you did

Blame it on the Black man (or Black child AGAIN)

Five grown white cops say he was stronger than you

And though your treachery was in clear view

Hocus pocus - blame it on the Black man

No matter what is going wrong

Doesn’t matter whose fault

We hear the lying song

Blame it on the Black man

There’s a sickness going around this land

Look how fast people believed these lies

Open up your mind and understand

This is racial madness not in disguise

You perpetrate terror until you get caught

And when you're busted you say it's not your fault

Just blame it on the Black man

Global warming is hurting the planet

Acid rain and smog we just can’t stand it

Blame it on the Black man

Yeah right, blame it on the Black man

We all expect it, but it’s a brand new day

And your lies are being rejected

Blame it on the Black man

Yeah we hear you

But the real problem

Is the person you see in the mirror

Try to blame it on the Black man

But now you must take note

No longer will we be your

+_)(*&^%$#@!^ scapegoat
