Footprints

My footprints were invisible
On this hard road I've taken
I've lost my sense of direction
En route to my destination
The easiest road was chosen ...
I was rerouted by temptation
Lost in the middle of nowhere
I'm in need of navigation
I stumbled, I fell,
And landed on my face
I got up, I'm standing,
I held on to my faith
Now my footprints are visible
On this route to Heaven
God's Personal Signals (GPS)

Maybe having too much pride...
Is bad but you should
At least have some and
It shouldn't come as a
Surprise when you no longer
Recognize the person staring back
At you and it's true
Pride goeth before the fall
And Lord knows that some
Of us surely have further
To fall than others and
Having pride isn't an excuse
To run and hide from
What's already inside of you
Your pride has given you
A distorted view of this
World so cold...

Elle...
A world that is so bold,
Hard to hold,
Extremely difficult to mold...
To begin to shape it,
Is to have some pride in oneself
Is most certainly good for one’s health...
To feel accomplished in your good,
To skill yourself... you should
Being proud of from whence you came,

tried my best to put no one above
you or us but I couldn't trust you
to do the same you'd rather extinguish

making me believe you care when
you don't so I wont stick around
to give love where there is none to

fake smiles and lies and no matter

Every day of your life

Keeping it real all so those...

Don't see how you really
Feel on the inside so you
Don't have to them the real

Let's keep it real nobody really cared about how I felt. I just played the hand I was dealt and put my feelings on a shelf so what I took care of everyone else someone has to show they care because everyone cant handle the agony of pain and despair
In the end who we are only matters to those who really know us best and keeping it real only matters to the rest
So until we draw our last breath and wake up on the other side of death who we are doesn't matter as long as we know we kept it real

Broken Angels

Broken angels sit a top roof tops
Saddened by what humanity
Had done saddened by what
The world has become
Their tears fall like a fiery rain
For their transgressions
A lesson had to be learned
It was time for humanity to feel their pain...

Ashamed of the wicked ways and
Deviant behavior of those who dared
To turn away from the savior
Away from his mercy grace and favor
