Secret Thoughts

Wondering mind not knowing how deep the memory it keeps

Reminiscing in silence or being discreet of the power in me,

That may appear weak at 1st when it’s a seed,

But strong;

Taking heed of gender in this world, but adapted then grew

Past a boy or a girl in adolescents from spiritual presence

My thoughts, then words, are manifested

A voice that seemed frozen it uttered, “You’re Chosen”…

‘Shyt’ is what it is ‘cuz’, I ain’t gonna front; I miss how it was.

I’m trying to forget the small stuff

The creepin’ n sneakin’ started when I was young

Not searching for materials I’m searching for life,

Consisting of mothers and children

Planning for future decisions

Planning strong independent living

For woman the most dangerous thoughts to men

Having their woman giving opinions

Being seen and not heard is not a tradition

It stands strong and consistent

We rather have a black male president over

Still woman the minority;

Planning our lives must be priority of higher sides.
