Fundamentally , economic and social power remain extremely unequally distributed, and show no sign of being effectively rebutted or disputed, despite the idea of equality it is diluted, and alluded, some people have power over their lives and the lives of others, while most do not they get smothered, covered up, there remains the rich and the poor the rich has everything their greedy constantly wanting more, employers control the means of production and employees who do not control the conditions of their labor, still they toil in turmoil ignorant to facts works in the bosses favor, men are more powerful than women whites more powerful than blacks, this nation was built on capitalism and riding off the slaves backs, the income distribution in the U.S and Britain is clearly unequal not caring about the poor after all their just people, 20% of the income accruing to the highest 5% of the families and only 5% accruing to the lowest paid 20%, wealth is skewed irrealavance, the richest 5% owns 50% of all the wealth in the U.S and if one discounts the homes people live in the cars they drive and the clothes they wear then mostly all wealth belongs to the richest 5%
