Her name was Patience, She worked on Virtue,
A therapist who helped me with ongoing issues
No finger pointing and no need for appointments
Not always convenient, but timely anointment
I’ve dated her twin, quickly be-coming Impatient
Going all in without weighing situations remaining
Jumping off on 1st stops along lines of no intuition
Positioning my want before the reality of real need
I’ve been lead off, from being fed up in not believing
Receiving meals without thoroughly checking menus
Hourglass was her rapture, which she carried with poise
Her silence is golden, like skin, she never puts on make up
Her legs run the entirety of the whole human race in sum
Watching my back, even when I’m out creeping with Fate
Never late because of her constant companion relative, Faith
On loan to me and for me to use to gain experience in self-control
To watch her work out for me, is to see a perfectly arched backbone
Even when met with Hate, her demure never ceases to endure
So pure is this woman, I long to love her constancy in perpetuity
Forever losing myself in her serenity, until time guts out long-suffering
Be with me Patience, for with you by my side, earth’s gravity becomes……
