Never

I never learned how to teach the world to understand me 

as they always taught theirs to never view me

While my sister's never learned to be more then what a book told them to be 

as their love never outgrew the idea to becoming another number in the book that dries her tears in secret 

While my brother's shoots another needle in thier veins because they never felt love the ordinary way

what our brain saw as normal, the world never cared to reach in for a hug 

Our skin was beautiful, those who looked different embraced us 

they wrote their notes as if we were experiments 

but never tagged up in the innovations that made them rich 

and although those disfigured clouds ran out of hopes and rain 

but never dared run freeing us from the shadows to final rest our pain upon the sun

I was never taught how to understand the world 

If Yellow Was A Lady….

Would she be emotional as if her heart was dancing on ice for her own comfort

Would she live through each breath with caution for she fears her presence may buy her jealousy in return

Could she walk the streets with her head held high as the wind embraces her confidents with each kiss it breezes by on a warm summer night

Be able to communicate her idealistic dreams to her demons as her angels drinks irrationally finding friendliness in god banned creations

Will her highly imagination lead her to her own broken deception for her soul lacks the creativity of the devil jazzy violin

Maybe her smile could heal this emotional fragile world if only they saw beyond just blacks and whites noises

Bring enlightenment to the darkness for those ghetto sidewalks as the thought of her color shall bring sunlight replacing those police lights in order to see those shooting stars

Her Black is Beauty

Her eyes were as pure as if gold was amongst the ghetto 

While the sound of her laughter send chills down the devil spine and the touch of her imagination gave beauty to mother nature core

She had a old school type vibe sexual healing like Marvin Gaye but she also grew up in the rough streets 

So she could vibe with N.W.A screaming "F*ck The Police"

She had the body made sweeter than a bee nectar, thighs that could turn a thug into a gentleman 

A mind bless of a beautiful Queen, scaring the silent of racism to finally speak up

Knowing her presence was inspirational, her natural beauty inspired the white culture with her no credit 

For she still walks with a poise of pride in a world that will always target her skin

For she knows Her Black is Beauty

The world is so cold as the teardrops from the angel falls through frozen clouds for another child is lost
as the air begins to suffocate while she gives her last breathe to resume the earth beauty 
but through the flaws a mystical wind finds love through an old fairytale friend the ghetto no longer knows named "Cupid"
The world is so cold the word dream is no longer simple
For I dream to only see 20 for my parents won't have to bury me before their grave
the stars grow weary for half those dreams never made it amongst their wishes
So the cycle repeats
The world is so cold..angels tear falls as another child is lost  

Second Chance

She like a breathe of fresh air my lungs can only worship in this toxic world
Her eyes brings me heaven on earth for my mind gave that image up murders ago
For I am not saint but yet she been my guardian angel for 4 years now
My sky is no longer dark for the sun isn't afraid to shine anymore 
while my nightmares turned into sweet dreams while her presence lay beside me at night
there is no need for my soul to wish anymore amongst the stars for my wish will soon bare a ring from my heart on her hands
I am blessed 
I shall never take a day of her for granted for her smile is once in a lifetime
My queen shall never cry unless there visiting from an emotion called joy
As those mystical clouds that once surrounded my mind turn into a clear vision with her in head of it...again
I am thankful

Miracle

when the moon has risen over a mystical cloud of gray dust with a spark of your eyes as it reflection than the word "beautiful" has been created.
when the soul you loved before me finally vanish from the veins leading to your heart and surrender to my hands then "victory" will become apart of my vocabulary 
while my dreams awaits upon your arrival...for my thoughts thirst the taste of pure sweet happiness

Rap is Poetry

My world wasn't born in green but in the soul of a crooked street 

where violence played tricks on me in the mind like those ghetto boys I knew 

who spit truth for the world to hear but called it non-sense rap cause they weren't from that crooked street

For in my world, if a ghetto child finds love we call it "rhythm"

where our hearts can stop fearing the gun shots and sirens to just dreaming of a safe haven one beauty can provide

We call it a symphony..

Since those in greens won't let us survive, scratch our imagination like a old record player..

Called us Funk Master Flash cause we were to close of the past of what used to be beautiful...but making sense is no longer the song

So in my world, we rap through words only acapella for our music is the reality we see everyday

Late Night Vibe

I wonder if the one true beauty I once called "Love" even sketch me in they dreams anymore

Or if these midnight stars hear my voice over the 12am sirens blasting to the drum of my fears

I'm on this "Late Night Vibe" co-written by these late night thoughts my heart drowns in during the day

I taught myself how to put a few words together, let my pain be the rhythm & call it "poetry"

Let each line flow in the dark blue sky, for my eyes see beyond the blackness....& no not my skin

See beyond the sadness of a doubted ghetto child & a drunk on whiskey type love thing in a broken neighborhood

For you see my night turns to a brighter future & my darkness turns to light when I wake up another day...

When I walk through those devil burden blocks with an angel tattooed on to my belief

I can only smile for my mind always praises on...

Born in a devil bound neighborhood where the poor call it "Home" & the rich "The Ghetto"

Where my skin tone can be seen as "Beauty" pure as an art form of God creation

while to other's may conceive only a "Criminal" a coin to the less fortunate

Where cops are beloved, few battles but no wars

while the news only portray the violence for their entertainment

Living in a world where feeling's are overrated

When hearts love with their sexual desires, forfeiting the simulations of their emotions

& teaching of the generations behind us "Lust" is the new way

causing the trust issues we suffer but won't change...

the heartaches we hate but praise to adjust to live with as it is the new normal...

the good love that comes around only once but to scared to accept it for we ...

She Was A Soldier

She was a soldier looking through the window

watching this war pass her by

While deep inside her heart is fighting a battle against her mind

& she knows...that nobody will love her the way one did

& she knows...nobody is going to realize

her insecurities for who she is

but it hurts as she ignore the bomb bursting silencing one pain

how it hurts when she shooting one heart like practice range

She was a soldier who marched her self right in one life
