I've lost the love of my life
I think of him every day and night
No words can express how I feel
He meant everything to me
And that's real
No other man can compete with what he has given me
Love, happiness, joy and security
I miss him so much
And the way his hands caressed my body
With every touch
Soon enough I was over him
And mistakenly fell in love with a guy
Who I feel is too good for me
But I don't know why
The thought of bein in love is like summer rain
It sure enough will wash away all the pain
A love lost is a love gained

Used and AbusedIt was all good in the beginning We were having a good time Enjoying ourselves And everything was going fine But the day you laid your hands on me Changed everything After that I knew we couldn't be I was a fool to forgive you the first time I shouldn't have stayed I should have left when it was on my mind As the months went by, it continued Still I forgot and forgave How could I be so stupid to stay and get abused Once again blinded by love and fear I couldn't take it anymore It was time for me to move on and disappear The lies, the cheating and the abuse I had had enough of everything Things now are a little rough But I'm still standing |
