Rise (in haiku)

I know times are hard.

But, lift up your chin proud man;

Above oppression.

Don't ever stop fighting.

Gain respect that you deserve.

Protect what is yours.

Mothers, sons, daughters,

From the past to the present,

The blood is still strong.

Begging to be saved,

Unknowingly we're still slaves.

Rise and take your place.

Free us from these chains.

Give us back our dignity.

You can release us.

You are a true king,

Whose value has been hidden.

Truth replaced with lies.

Break out of your ties,

And rise up to your status.

Bring us together.

Open up your eyes.

Take back control of what's yours.

You've been sleep too long.

Rebuild foundations,

Reconnect with our nations.

Lessons from the past.

For people and by people

Is the way to regain wealth.

Rebuild Black Wall Street.

You're the missing link.

'Tis why we fail constantly.

A beat with no soul.

It's been a long ride.

So deliver your people,

And they will rally.

Rally by your side.

Stand tall with a pride regained.

Once again, we'll reign.
