Lost

Sitting here sulking

Like quick sand so sully

 Thoughts clouded in drought

The future unwraps the present

Time slows to a tock

I'm too lonely to talk

An island with no waves

I realize how long i've been away

Slow trods to new land

Where dreams come easy

My own scripture in hand

Stay or Go

The past blows and destiny knocks

I'm not sure which to answer to

If not for then how can it fin

Night Out

Dark light filled nights

Speedy noise all around

No one wants to sit down

Down the street The band's drums fill the air

Truly nothing compares

Soon sloppy lips smear the day long ware

Mistakes become regrets Quicker than curfews or breaking in new pairs

Energized spirit restless and ready

For daylight threatens Illumination of last night's reverie.
