WELCOME TO MY COUNTRY
Hello to all the immigrants
Welcome to my country
Glad to see you here
You’ve arrived upon my shores
For a better opportunity
And to run away from fear
Remember when you get here
When you see my face
You must not reject it
Yes this is my country
I’m the one who built it
My face - you will respect it
Unfortunately it’s necessary
That I must write these words
Because of some behavior
Some immigrants have come here
Arrived upon my shores
Their disposition we don’t savor
You see they’ve landed in my country
And some of them suppose
That they can disrespect me
But this has been my land
From the very founding
This is my one and only country
Yes Blacks have fought the battles
The struggles we have waged
And won against discrimination
We’ve made our country better
For us and yes for you
And now we have a better nation
We vowed four hundred years ago
And every day since then
Through our actions we have stated
That discrimination inside
Our beloved land
Will not be tolerated
You see Americans we always were
And we will always be
Internal strife be notwithstanding
In the United States of America
Everyone is equal
Remember this upon your landing
Many people come here
To the land of opportunity
To the land of greatness
But we have been here always
We established America our country
We’re one of the founding races
Yes, some people arrive here
And get confused and think
That they can discriminate
But we will be respected
In the land of our ancestors
We made this country great!
We’re gifted fighters for equality
Yes we are true defenders
Of our nation, here the call
Welcome to our country
To the country that we built
You will respect us one and all
Do not approach us ever
As if you might be better than us
That is not your fate
You must be kind and courteous
You are bound to respect us
Or you must emigrate
Back to your own homeland
Back to where you lived
For a hundred years or more
Back to the place you left
Because of discrimination
Go back to those shores
You made a mistake to come here
If you want to be unjust
That’s not the way that it will be
This place you dreamed of coming to
Because of our commitment
To freedom and equality
And once again always remember
That we are the protectors
And this is our precious country
We’re strong and we’re determined
To be RESPECTED WITHOUT QUESTION
This is the way it must and will be
Welcome to our country
Know that we are serious
And that we are not faking
We love our birthplace dearly
We are old Americans
And we will not be overtaken
Hello all the immigrants
Welcome to my country
Glad to see you here
You’ve arrived upon my shores
For a better opportunity
And to run away from fear
Remember when you get here
When you see my face
You must not reject it
Yes this is my country
I’m the one who founded and built it
My face - you will respect it
