In a region ...of empty space
When an accumulation ...of particles coalesced
An odd thing happened ...in between
The individual charges of electrical activity
Became aligned …by inclination
Which became designs
By some odd quirk of fate
A series of structures
Were created as if magically
Each particle made a contribution
And with each charge addition
The geometric structure
Became modified
Mutual attraction was magnified
A center of activity formed
And all else was drawn to fall around it
And no matter how much it grew
Everything seemed to fit
What was this thing …this unseen cloud
Which manifests itself when sufficient mass
Transformed energy to particles, atoms into
…something which seemed to occupy space
And change state to something of a solid
Which from a distance became something more
A greater form …than the nothingness
From whence it came
It became …life
