I am silent
I am silent
Thinking not of the masks i have worn.
The people i have been.
It is such a necessary evil,
these masks of mine.
One atop the other
my masks have piled.
a mountain lay upon my face.
i was free once.
This day i have known.
My face so raw,
and untouched by the sun.
Aesthetic was its feel.
"I am silent
I am silent"
i said.
As i looked through the clouds
beholding that who created love.
"I am free from conformity.
I have vanquished the ideal,
and destroyed its temple.
I am free my risen father,
and my grounded mother."
From the sky fell a mask
which then landed upon my face.
For i was then the worshipper.
A new mask I have obtained.
