Little did my Enemies Know

From me you tryed to steal, but you didnt know the abundance of my keep.

You tryed your best to discourage me, still I look up and keep my eyes fixed on God who brings me great joy 

Its me you sought to destroy, but my ever present help comes from the Lord

You may have thought you frightened me, but God is the provision of my peace

I was almost close to rebellion as you tempted me, but it takes more than deception to decieve me

When you beared false witness and lied on me, My eyes of faith saw God at work in everything

Even as you humiliate, slander my name, It was Gods grace and assurance that kept me sane

You stayed critisizing me, and I replaced it with compassion 

Yes you wished harm on me, and my praise just got greater

Perserverance in hope, Restoration divine<...

When I write..

When in doubt, I write

When Im feeling some type of way, 

What comforts me more than my own literature

What other avenue of freedom, delivers me like this?

The gratitude in knowing my words are being viewed and felt, by even one individual

or just that the passages formed by my thoughts are well-versed enough to be scripted and shelved, if if not to be sold

A lonliness that escapes me when I write

My story, My tales,  and my anxiety that lingers from it all.

Recorded and renewed

Restored and alive in action

As my words flow and as the reader digest

Their favorite piece of literature,

in a moment of mine

They live with me and hear my soul in clear print.

I know they can see me, hear me , I know they feel me
