My man was perfect

the kind of man who's always around

who showers me with gifts

who gives me all the attention my heart desires

But....

My man is a working man

He works long hard hours to provide for our needs

he gives me everything I could ever need

His attention is focused on achieving great things for our future

My man worshipped me like a goddess

talked to me as if every word I said was the most important he ever heard.

Obsession

Your kindness and generosity Your looks and your humility Your caring and selflessness These are the things that have occupied my mind When we are together we talk forever We laugh, we cry or we make love for hours No matter the issue you put my feelings first I've tried so hard to keep my mind on my work But who can concentrate on simple daily tasks When consumed with a mate as perfect as you So what to do when stuck in this quandary Just sit around and obsess about you If ever there was a doubt in your mind My obsession is so deep that I have given my life.

I watch as your walking up My heart is racing Can you see me staring? Your confidence is attractive Your baring draws me closer Everytime I see you I want to tell you the truth Do you see me? As you walk by our eyes briefly meet In my head I'm screaming I love you You walk by without looking back Did you hear my thoughts? Is my secret exposed for the world to see? I pray to God that love wins out
