Wichita
It all starts with a little voice,
I think the words,
and then they form a door,
A door into another world,
and I’m steeping in,
and I garnish in,
that cash money,
like the government.
I grew in a city where,
the college students,
run the run the parties,
and,
they run the game,
like PlayStation,
they’ll tell yo’ momma they
studyin’…
This is the Air Capitol,
look it up on the Google,
we are so CAPitol,
I got friends,
that are so CAP-able
it makes me wander,
why these people,
still stuck in the Ghett-it-toh
Party students rent it,
for a couple hundred,
party in the neighborhood,
across from the campus,
17th & Hillside,
that’s the Ghetto,
yes I get it,
so if they around so much,
then why ain’t you Grad-uat-ed?
I’m in Wichita,
my city is the biggest,
in the Kansas,
and Kansas City,
that’s Missouri,
this is Kansas,
don’t confuse it!
My city is the greatest,
it’s been that way,
even before Wichita State,
basketball made the headline,
My city makes the airline,
why you think we got the
name “Air Cap” boy?
We make them planes fly!
That’s fire, we make the
airplanes in the plains,
and we bring in people in
on them planes,
So, watch out for my city,
Wichita, we run this thing…
