my dream is too big
to sleep for a minute
my heart ticks like a clock
I still have time in it
I watch as it rolls away
like sweat down my face
every body moves like
their in a race, no one wins
when their in black face
we'll all commence
even if we do not graduate
there are things that still lingers
like shock after an impact
losing more than one lacked
can't keep on looking back
missing too much up ahead
a speed bump is nothing but a lump
trying to get over the hump
coming from both sides of the coin
tossed and driven, is a way of living
sometimes you need some salt
and a little slap yo mama, coz
sometimes life lacks flavor and
you need something to enhance
all the drama, in order to change
the dish to a meal, that's worthy
enough to sit down and pick your teeth
kick off your shoes and kick up your feet
we are the salt of the earth and
we learn from birth that life's not that sweet
