Black Bodies:
People don't respect black bodies
They use Black bodies
They objectify black bodies
People abuse black bodies
They enslave black bodies
Degrade black bodies
The black body is nothing more than a commodity, seen as a oddity, laughed at, ridiculed and nitpicked by society
They see no beauty in the black body
No life in her extremities
Just pieces of a thing to hate
Rape
Fear
Kill
Escape
My Black is beautiful Is what we say
"Your black is terrible, such a disgrace
Why do you exist? We must erase"
The pain, guilt and shame they placed up on us because they are haunted by their own self hatred.
My Black body is of much worth
As much as they try to hurt, me.
Your Black body is of much value
As much as they try to hurt you.
Honor your Black body,
Love your Black body,
Take care of your Black body
Because you're not just anybody.
