It's crazy how young women in our generation don't know their worth

How they ignore the fact that they've been Queens since birth,

I mean they'd rather lay up with snakes and  then complain to the world about having a ***ed up self-esteem 

And then talk about wanting a King that'll treat them right; all the while dressing half naked and doing anything for an Instagram Like

A clouded mind is blinded to the fact; failing to understand it's not their self-esteem but, common sense and self-respect they lack.

If standards aren't set they'll never find that King but, continue to lay with the snake that whisper sweet nothings in their ear.

And now what kind of sense does that make?

Been nothing but, a CITY KID all my life,

Filled with struggles, pains and strife.

But, don't be mistaken, all these obstacles 

Have done, is push me harder to achieve. 

Yeah, I said it, ACHIEVE! 

Achieve my goals and dreams because I set my life to a higher standard and chose to believe. 

Yeah, I said it, BELIEVE!

Believe in myself and no one else.

Because no one else was going to give me a chance or a handout to work with.

I had to look within myself and put in that hard work to succeed.

Yeah, I said it, SUCCEED!

Succeed to reach my limits and go beyond. 

Reaching my goals and taking no detours to get where I'm supposed to be.

You have to understand and see,

That life for me, 

A CITY KID, it's not free.

Yeah, I said it, NOT FREE!

No five finger discounts for me.

Ladies know that you're beautiful inside and out and you don't have to show all your skin so that others can figure it out. Don't get so caught up in this thing we call instagram showing your body off to any and every man just for a comment or a like and don't sit back and smack your lips for what I say because you know you're on social media everyday doing all you can to show off your pearls and treasures with all your might just to show thousands of followers that you never follow back just how sexy you can be. Real Men, don't respect women that show them everything too soon but respects and wants the woman that conceals things and works hard towards her goals and dreams. Ladies and Gents understand you must stop with the foolishness because all your doing is wasting time; get right because before you know you'll just end up bitter and alone looking back wondering what if...and by then it'll be too late. MY MOTHER'S DAY POEM

She assisted greatly in raising me to be a REAL MAN. Was it easy? I wouldn't say so, but I was blessed with a MOTHER with great patience. At least enough not to kill me. She was the one that always encouraged me and told me I can do and be whatever I chose to be. She told me she would always be there for me no matter how old I got. And that promise I've never forgot. Growing up she was there to teach me how to properly dress, clean, groom, tie my shoe, write, and how to respectively talk to a young woman and not call every other one boo but to treat them all with a great deal of respect. It's crazy to me how what one woman can do from giving birth to a child, to loving that child, caring for that child, and raising that child and to have such a powerful effect on ones life. I appreciate everything she's done for me and I thank GOD everyday; for he blessed me with such a strong woman to raise me like no other and Im proud to call her my LOVING, CARING & CRAZY MOTHER.

Lost Letter

AS I WALKED ON THE BEACH (AS I USUALLY DO) I CAME UPON A BOTTLE WHICH CONTAINED A LETTER & AS I READ THE FIRST LINE OF THIS LOST LETTER THE NAME WHO IT WAS ADDRESSED TO CAUGHT MY EYE& MIND AND BY THIS I THOUGHT THIS LETTER TO BE A BIT ODD OR ONE OF A KIND

As I sit here & wonder why the world is so INFECTED with MEN

who steal diamonds, pearls, & take little girls & strip them of their

purity and create the reasons for their future insecurities; I wonder is there a CURE

Why is it that YOUNG LADIES who should be enjoying their youth & going

off to be successful in college rather be someones chick or girl, going to that party where 

their high school sweetheart will be & eight weeks later begin feeling sick & end up sitting at home &
