There's a time for me as there is a time for you

Lined and synced into a timely cue

As orderly as it may seem ..

It shows that we are just slaves with dreams

We decay with a means to flourish

Repaying our deeds in order to nourish

A later tree with leaves of truth and courage

I feel like there isn't much time

Hours to minutes before I lose my mind

They tell me try before I lose control

A conception, I cry .. These are moments I fold

And lord behold, look my strength returns !

But I'm turning cold and as I blink it burns

Yet they ask me why, why it feels so wrong

That I should simply find a way to shun this harm

It's a way of pain, this must make it right

I just feel insane, someone please help me fight

It's been game of treason and some quick believing

Almost to a point of feelin that im disbelieving

Been so many times when I froze in place

Thoughts I left behind, there's no colder taste

And as I cry for help, I never hear a sound

At most times I felt that only I was around

I kept on screamin, someone please just listen

My voice was slippin, but I kept my vision

I see memories that's been filled with riches

The Seat

As I walked these streets

I started to compete, with the dark thoughts that tend to creep and sneak

I grind my teeth when I think about all the secrets that I keep

How much can I resist with no help to release?

Hours wither away in just a few blinks..

Running out of sheets, but not worried about sleep

In the zone, the focus is too deep, it's so discrete

My body starts to feel weak as I drift to where you can't reach

Going with the flow adjusting to the next beat

I just have a seat and write what feels steep

But make no mistake, in reality you weep

Longing for someone to understand what you seek

To understand the reason why it repeats

Now wondering if it was right, what you chose to believe

This is when I decided that it's time to take a seat..

The Territory

I was born and raised during these terrible days

I've heard the screams coming from the dark alleyways

The dogs they let bark as they drove down the oneway

Everywhere around you there's nothing but decay

So who are we to complain for fortune and fame?

Constantly feeling the need to pray for that new beginning that never came

Looking around you, seeing nothing but hate and shame

Same faces, same pain treading the slums with differences only in names

So what are we to do?

Start setting a good examples for those who need you

Show determination, we all know what to do

No different than the rest of the world that doesn't have a clue

Pain is what we all feel, show them your idea of what can be real

We Are Equal

I'm a tad bit confused, I don't understand the rules

My rights are claustrophobic, I will not be shackled by you

I'm as free as a bird, the path of enlightenment is where I flew

Soaring the skies in search of the righteous pedestal

But what they promised turned out to be nothing but a ruse

It's cover ups like these that we can use to accuse these fools

For the hypnosis the world is under and the neglect that they put us through

What do you have to lose? Help diffuse the pointless disputes that distracts us from the real news

Never lose sight of what's right in front of you

I will stand and fight, I'm determined to win and not lose

To enlighten them on OUR rules

This is what I choose to do and so should you

Never let another talk down on you, we're all equal

I pray that one day we'll see the light rays

Showing us the right way to go about things

That one day we'll see the right ways to stop claims

We joke about the whole thing not noticing what's lurking

In the dark alleyways, they are getting thirsty

Trying to disrupt the peace is their first gain

Next is the fame and the respect from the tamed

It's the same damn thing we see everyday

Try to maintain the epidemic it may bring and see what others may choose to not say

Because nowadays I crave to save the people that lay in dismay and yearn for a change to live a better way

Because I know that type of pain with no one to blame

It's a shame that their time came, but who am I to say what awaits the next day

Sins

The walls are closing in, surrounded by persuasive sins

You find yourself trapped in a dangerous predicament

But what if I told you I could save you from all the sins

To help you understand the consequences for those actions

Rethink about agreeing to doing what their asking

The last thing you want is to commit their bad deeds

But listen, at the end of the day it's your choice to make

However, it's best to receive all the help you can take

Because it's hard to find real friends willing to wait just in case you do make that terrible mistake

Despite the hardships and pointless debates

Cherish them for they can never be replaced

For your sake, I hope choose the right path to take

Now that your eyes are open and you're awake

Use that knowledge to locate the next step to take

The decision is yours to make, but make no mistake..

Smoke and Embers

Walking under a red sky

In intense thought, a feeling just to get you by

Nothing but dark smoke and embers

Addicting for the sender, but terrible for me to remember

All my life I've been surrounded by shadows

The hall of hope suddenly became narrow

Sometimes I'm in need of ecstacy

Or just a hand from anyone next to me

In my mind I spread my wings

From my soul, I yearn to sing

I fear I might only be happy in my dreams

But in the end, I'll have to wait and see..

Knowledge

We travel this world with that essential knowledge

Knowing the solution to conquer the constant violence

But instead you decide to take a vow of silence

Why preach the solution when no one knows guidance?

So instead you leave it up to them to understand the stem

To find the root of corruption and destroy it from deep within

Please god, forgive them for their sins on trying to solve this

If you have the solution then help us resolve it because I'm going to be honest I'm leaning towards the darkness

I need guidance, I'm feeling comfort in the silence

Is it my destiny to learn from all the violence?

To be mindless, to get excited when I hear the sirens?

This can't be me ! I refuse to take a knee..

I fought for my right to be able to feel & see

Just tell me how it's going to be, the suspense is killing me..

Love is a sword that can either stab or kill

Now you're wondering if what you felt was actually real.

I've felt the cold blade searching for my heart to steal

But I know it's something that I should try to keep concealed

I prayed and begged up there for a deal

To get rid of the pain inside since I chose not to reveal

But it still beats ever slightly still..because...
