Felt Tip

Loose leaves, blown and  strewn  about

Some billow within eyesight, others far sight

Pages in  the cut,  unbreeched perfection

Quite ripe  for  intrusion or  more hard recollection

Affection came  by  way  of  black  light  screening

Staring blankly  at  one  another,  sparking  ingenuity

Fingers caress  in  poking  motions,  triggering emotions

The mind  says  “No”,  but  the  heart  says  “Yes”, “Oh yes”

So entities  once  standing  all  alone, move closer and closer

From old to new

Unknown to Who Knew

Uttering…” I love you”

Seems like a lot to do over

Paper to pen, love begins

Eyes read from hearts bled,

Tears fall in spots, happy to sad

Madly obsessed paramours of trust

Hopes to congeal, from mutual appeal

Bursting seems 2b inevitably, surprising

Close to heart is an indelible art, thou art

First to last, memories never lost in shine

Defined in songs hummed apropos a ‘capella

Footsteps splash in cadence in hurried travels

Rushed by lust, but memories contain remains

So, whenever the waterfalls in minds’ of mine

I cosign to that time of sublime, for love in twos

One drop, two drops through, we loved  to  do

Separate by heart and  mind,  we still combined

Blindsight in full flight, searching for Tinder delight

Maybe for a night or at least timeline(d) flights

Social media pro-files’, play out the great pretending

Defenders of like mind swipes in consensus defines us

She likes so I follow her lead, as she follows back to me

We love be-cause, love spectacles are certain in the public feed

The need for approval beyond reproach or even recusal,

Applauds of rice that showers and confirms such a matrimonial seeming affair

Never to last because we loved for a title although not truly viable

So we change the story to hatred of the players in a quite social game

Crying tears for a criterion rallied upon by sharing and cosign...

Deep  invasions,  in  private  places
About  faces,  no  longer  given  graces
Love  refuses  to  retreat from  hearts’ keep
I  will  love  thee,  not  just  in waking,  but  in  sleep….

For  keeps  was  a  depart  in  loves’  eternal  portrayal
Obsession has  me  questing  for  answers  to  why  you  still appear
We  were  not  good  for  each  other  for  reasons  of time and space
I  had  hearts  on  call,  that  yes  I  did  dispatch  in  youthful  haste

Locked in a world of solitary confines

A treasure weighted like forever 

Such beauty awaits a reflection

Spotlighted by a moon-lust that travels

Dear  Poetry……How  did  we  begin?
Seems  like  now  we  are  more  than  friends…
Casual  was  this  acquaintance  by  chance  introduction
As  you  were  seeking,  while  eyes  were  searching
Our  connection  at  first  glance  was  in  fact  bittersweet
So  I  turned  away,  and  you  turned  the  page……

Caught  in  my  mind  were  thoughts  of  our  arrangement
Or  so  I  thought  I  knew  what  was  2b,  only  scratching  surface
As  you  compelled  me  to  look  at  you  once  more,  deeply
Sweetly  I  blushed  as  ...

It  still  burns,  perpetually  singed

Traveling  away  from  a  love  so  dear

Too  hot  to  handle,   surreal  love  on  a mantle

My  candle  still flickers,  swaying  her  way

Even  in  this  vacuum  of  space,  love  misplaced

Sucking  in  air,  but  choking  on  ether,  I still  see  her

Vapors  outlined  in  crimson  hue,  my  heart  a  misty  blue

Many  wars  fought  for  the  heat  in  this  Knight,   2b  reborn

My  heart  wobbles  and  oscillates,  as  I  ran  from  truth…

Atom's Eve

Black  and  adrift  endlessly wandering

Null and  void ,  unseen  continuance

Tethered  to  such  lonely  persistence

Deep  within,  is  how  endings  begin

Bowels  erupting  in  new  found  reverie

All  creations  approach  genesis  awakening

Destiny’s  crash  course  of  love  rippling

Warmth  creeps  in  thus  forming   recognition

Life  begins  to  seek  out  its  relationship  2b

Light  bathes   us,  in  reflections  portrayal

Notions  attract  us,  exacting   magnetically

Emotions  prove  towards  homing  signals’  affinity

Answers  to  when,  what,  wher...

The Mirror

When I look at you I have to smile

because my gaze is always returned

with a welcoming

that says why don't you stay awhile

And when you smile back at me

All is well in the world, 

It is an ultimate expression of warmth

that comes from within but heats my whole being 

and its inner and outer vicinities

Do you believe in your own beauty?

Can you conceive its prominence, 

If you can't, 

 all you need to do is open your eyes

and look at me,

 for I am that mirror that

reflects your beauty and prominence

Oh Phoenix of Love never fear or doubt

for you are Love's brightest day

Winds  bending  limbs
