Something love never taught

We have been taught
           Love is beautiful
     Love is seen
         Love is forever
     Love is unique
But what about the ugliness
    When love isn't so attractive
When love isn't a magnet
When we indecisive
Should we stay or should we go
When our heart  and mind in battle
   When No longer in control
We look for answers in others
Knowing we no the answers to
We have been taught
      Love is beautiful
     Love is seen
         Love is forever
     Love is unique
But what about ugliness
When we have  peel back
    The layers  to discover
What's underneath
When love is quicksand
We can't control our feet
When love is hard to come by
When the love we want isn't who we need
We have been taught Love is beautiful
     Love is seen
         Love is forever
     Love is unique
What about ugliness ?

Unfortunately love can be bittersweet as you piece clearly expressed. Its the misuse and abuse of a beautiful thing that makes it ugly. a sting many have felt. Nice write, TFS!

Fantastic Scribe and Thought....Love is in the journey (expres-sion)....not just a destination (I wouldn't have it any other way, even the hurt and pain....love remains above all these things) Bravo....Namaste

Kharisma says:

Truth in your words. Nobody likes to explain the ugly side, because they want us to travel to that side on our own.
