Not staring at anything in particular 
I just like the way you look 
Admiring all your features 
Appreciating this handsome man I have the pleasure of calling mine 
 
And even though it seems like I’m daydreaming 
 
I’m not! 
 
I’m looking eye to eye with your soul 
And introducing my spirit to yours 
Engulfing every one of your emotions 
Analyzing your psyche 
Reading every page of your wordless book 
 
I like to watch you sit in silence because your silence speaks in volumes 
I already know what you want 
When you want it 
And how you want it without you even opening your mouth 
 
But I ask anyways because I love to hear your voice 
 
Sometimes I just look at you 
Trying to figure out how to tell you just how much I love you 
But every word that comes to mind is not enough 
So my mouth doesn’t open 
 
And I just lay there looking at you 
 
Constantly imbedding your image in my brain 
Because I have that type of memory 
where I recall more of what I see and less of what I hear 
And you have some how become my favorite thing to remember
