Water reigns on this date
Tidal waves, signal my dismissal
Tears form this sorry epistle
Wishing well to her fountain of youth
I burned her with my insatiable desires
She was a flame I lit and then relinquished
At this pyre I worship love remnants eternal
Embers glow but fail to start anew inferno
I tried my best to catch a breath or break from misery
Heavens witness would not give me out of the blue relief
As even the four winds hum her name, whistling
And my lungs are shallow as I exist on fading memories
Lifeless is my nonexistence on a world for lovers
My death would be a victorious eviction from this earth
Creation is so cruel when the one you love despises you
Travelling millions upon millions of miles to return to love terra firma
So lost love, if you by chance read this sticky, sickly testament
Don’t forget to leave your forwarding address…..
So I can forward you the remains of my love, for your mantle
