They didn't know her face.
Blurred faces that passed her by without so much as an "hello"
She took brief walks between the sheets of paper in her diary.
Light walks between collage ruled paper.
She'd laugh at the notions made in blank spaces.
The world was too confined, too many rules.
Here she had the freedom to do whatever she pleased.
Stepping outside of the lines, free to be herself.
Without frowned faces or salty looks.
Sensitive in nature
Her heart was also made of paper.
The slightest touch and it would tear.
Afraid of deep creases and bends
She didn't stray too far from the dark blue lines.
Cautious of how the cover of her diary would close.
Her shadow would keep her company when she felt blue.
Dark lines and light scribbles that illustrated how she truly felt.
She didn't care how the world saw her,
Hell she didn't care to know them
