I am a tree.
With ripened fruit.
Much rather would I be a barren tree
flowerless, and fruitless,
for my days wouldn't be filled with the longing to be plucked,
but rather the longing to grow,
and be my greater self.
I am a sea.
Rich with the waters of life.
Much rather would I be waterless,
so as to await the rains that will call my worth.
I am the Sky.
Full of young and elder Sun's.
Much rather would I be empty,
so as to long for the burst of light that will create my children.
I am knowledge.
The all seeking mother of progress.
Much rather would I be Ignorance,
for my longing would be young,
the flowers of life would be of a new fragrance,
and knowing shall be my innermost longing.
I am my self.
much rather would I be you,
for you are witnessing a wandering soul.
You know not of the turbulence within me,
yet you witness my joy, and my love.
