I loved you wildly, from every depth I possibly could. I was childish in the way that we played. Offering you what little I had. The constant juices and fruit snacks, The moments that went without thought as we ran into the bliss of the wind. The spin of the carousel until arms were tired. Fruitful smiles, a taste cast into the essence of your smile. The rise of hands to block the sun from shining in our eyes, The jungle gyms of conversation, The hop scotch of thoughts explored in full. I never feared the consequence of being hit by the ball of reality, just as long as I was with you. We stayed up all night exchanging the things we'd do when we'd grow up, but not before being made to sip imagery tea from a small cup. I use to pretend a lot of things, one in particular. That you'd never leave my side. A lonely pinky in need of a friend. I haven't ran that fast since the day you moved away
