Dear Lord
I come to you and I beg of you...

... Intercept my bad reception
And come to me and quickly intervene
There are times in my life I don’t feel you are with me
So please come clean!

You are Holy as said in scripture verses
But I hardly hear you because I hear more of what the devil disperses
His hateful and spiteful angry curses
People think he works in the world
When he has so many prey in our very churches

I am a pagan or better known to be a heathen
But unto you I am cleaving
I look at my old self walking away leaving
While the devil continues his deceiving
I stay strong only because you give me strength to choose to be “Power receiving”!

I used to be horribly angry and violently lyrically hostile
But now I hear others calling me a disciple or apostle
And I guess it’s true to the core
Because I believe that Jesus is the epitome of the everlasting gospel

My health is failing
But your love shall never do the same
For whom I used to be
Is the old man that you placed to shame!
For I can stand tall and write proudly that unto you is all glory
As I honorably praise your beautiful name

The hell of the earth is not what we’re worth
Because none of us are worthless
Even though the devil tries to hurt this and even curse this
The more I get spit upon by his spawns of evil
The more I get up and know I must disperse this
Because God told me that I’m worth it

And that’s all I need to help keep my head up
Because I am encourage by the thought
That one day sooner than later
With the Lamb of God, I will sit & sup!
