I would stay up all night, watching your Snapchat story over and over again just so I could admire the happiness that lit up your face.
I would sit at cafe’s reading through all our old Facebook conversations because it was much more intriguing than any book that’s been written.
I would scroll through your Instagram and my heart was euphoric just to see you.
But when I saw you in the streets, my walls shot up and my head lowered.
I was unable to look you in the eye because it felt wrong.
We talked for hours some days, but only over texts.
You were the guy that stole my heart and I was the woman who knew from the start that we had a love that can never be true
because I was just another chick catfishing you.
