How much longer will I have to bare the bondage of my younger selves.
With the Devils I sit down pleading for their freedom.
For they have imprisoned all that is great.
The youth that will bring my mind forward
The youth that will set me free.
Day after day I hear the whips lick their backs.
Day after day I hear the screams.
Who shall set them free.
None other than me,
for my brothers and sisters care not for our younger souls.
In the streets I scream "help them", "help our younger selves, for the Devils have got them."
But only blind eyes turn towards me.
Only deaf ears lend themselves to my voice.
Together I sit with my sister self, trying to find ways to set her free.
"When will you come for us" she asked,
drowning in the tears of her deepest sorrow.
I am here for you my young self,
but I am not strong enough to pull you free,
and the Devils have grabbed my arm
hoping to make a slave out of me,
but stronger I'll fight,
and with a smile I'll take their lives.
Then together we will walk towards the sun.
Joining in its rise and fall.
Fear not my beloved sister.
Your pain will be paid for,
and your tears will be for a greater purpose.
Even if my life is one to take.
You will walk this earth chainless.
Even if my life is one to take.
You will be happy my child, and free to be as great as you are.
