I'll give you something to think about,
but only as long as you want to think.
I will give you breathe,
but only as long as you want to breathe
I will give of my self, for you are my kin.
I will guide you.
I exist for that purpose alone.
I will yield upon my arrival,
so as to show you my distance,
then I will come forth when distance is too much to bare.
I will give of myself unknown and unwanted,
until you no longer desire my thoughts.
Oh do I love your words,
for they show me that I should speak further.
Oh do I love your countenance,
for it is so unwelcoming,
but still I knock on the door to your freer expression.
What you may never find is that I live through your questioning,
And I thrive on your disbelief.
I absorb your words of doubt,
and I give to you my deepest response.
I want to see you thrive my distant sister.
I want you to say to me,
"I overstand my brother."
And it is only then I will fade from existence,
for my purpose has been fulfilled.
Say to me,
"I need your words no longer, for I have my own"
It is only then will you see my tears.
Tears of both joy, and sorrow,
for I am filled with love for the person you will become,
and I mourn the nature of our relationship that will be forever lost.
But forward we will have moved my sister,
and together our minds will forever stand.
Firm in the realms of togetherness
and firm also in the realm of distance.
Just know my sister that you made me who I was.
My mind and actions adapted to your growth.
It was only at the end where I was myself,
for I pulled you far enough for you to see my eyes,
and through my eyes you saw my soul,
and through my soul you saw my self.
Know that you freed me my sister.
For it was your soul I saw as well,
and our selves greeted one another,
and told each other of the journey that lead to such a point.
Our departure is one I will not accept,
but the all leads our feet,
and our minds know not of departure,
for they will always be one with all they encounter.
Young soul I'll give you my absence,
but only as long as you desire such a thing.
I'll give you my absence my young and desolate soul,
but only if you look at me and say
"I need you no longer my beloved brother.
I stand tall without you."
